I like painting landscapes. I'm using gouache here too, and I'll be using that medium unless I say differently.
I have not figured out how to edit photos using Windows 8.1 yet.
I'm very new painting with gouache, and the thing is-you just paint with it until you learn how to use it. Paint and paint and paint.

I have only used gouache a few times. Like using a bit of white when I lose my whites in watercolor. You certainly captured a summer feel in this sketch.
