Oh my, he has a face totally involved in sly. Very nice. You have quite a talent to capture the personality in a facial expression.

I received January/February 2021 issue today, inspirational edition I recommend reading.

I bet you're talking about Artist's Magazine-I got my issue in the mail yesterday-can't wait to open it!
I'm painting from photos, obviously, but would love to get back to life painting. Kinda hard to paint a fox that way!!

About 5 AM, just before sunrise is a good time to take pictures of a fox strolling back to its den.

Debra said...

Yes! That would be great. We do have fox around here...
I loved the artist you mentioned in the new issue of AM. Amazing.

The eye is so powerful it provides a focus with drama. Cannot help but wonder what is on his\her mind.
Been reading back on several posts. Hope your mother continues to be okay. You brother sounds as he was blessed as he managed to survive such a horrible time with covid.
You do a good deed by reminding us all to wear a mask and be careful.

You said you are finding oil painting is difficult but then agreed if you keep at it it will get easier... definitely true! Try using a medium maybe? Anyway let me know if I can help. You are a very good painter and make sure you keep it a joy!

Thank you, Julie. I am getting it slowly. I had forgotten a few basic things about working with oils-once I started changing some things, it wasn't so frustrating.
As far as help-oh my. Any and all criticism will help me a lot. I just want and need to learn. Thank you!
