It's a little hard to tell what this will be now. More clay will be added, then it'll be painted. I've done things like this for about 12 years-it is so tight to the wood that the clay would have to be chisled off of it.

This post and the previous one are both filled with some great information. The Nancy Bradfield book seems to be quite rare, but I will definitely be watching for one that is affordable. I would love to try flax for a doll's hair. Thank you for these great posts.
That's an interesting use for paper clay...adding dimension to a painting! Might try sometime!!

Good morning, about the tea pots if you search for red clay tea pots Japan photos will come up and I found this
Traditionally red clay from Tokoname region is used for tea pot because the red clay can hold water without glaze and it has an excellent quality for brewing green tea. Unglazed finish retains tiny pores in the tea pot and makes tea taste milder.
These little tea pots are quite expensive-when I was still working a starbucks had moved in about a block from me at the time I am not into starbucks but I would go there to get out of the building for a walk and grab an expresso shot sometimes and they sold allot of these little tea pots and there are small containers for tea storage too one day they had them marked down big time to close them out. I bought two different tea pots and one container, and they had just 2 very small tea cups left at the time I had bought everything for less than what one cost. I was so happy lol I do love them and forget to get them out and enjoy them I am doing that now you don't need to post this if you don't want to
