Hunkering down here after today until mid next week. Debating on warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream for sitting by window watching the snow fall or a deluxe grilled cheese with tomato and hot chocolate. 😂 May
Great painting, Debra! Reminds me of our bandit pup, Seamus. If we are not careful in the kitchen, he will put his paws up on the counter and steal food. Last night I prepared my dinner plate, turned to get a napkin, and my plate was empty not 30 seconds later when I turned back. Also, he once ate a batch of untended raisins. Quickly we were off to the emergency vet where they treated him before it was too late. He is a food bandit, poisonous to dogs or not!
Debra, I promise you that SITAR is a safe place for artists. The group of artist that are in my blogland and wonderful, encouraging, and very generous with other's art. No need to be "chicken" to join SITAR. In fact some of the people who already leave comment for you are on SITAR. I'm gently encouraging you to share your talent and your beautiful art.
Your painting sort of reminds me of grackles we sometimes get here. But they are white spotted. They're big and seem to scare away the smaller birds (which would be everything but them). We learned to never put corn in our bird feeders, or they'll be hanging around for days and days. Or however long it takes for the corn to disappear and them lose hope we'll refill the feeders for them.
