"Wheel marks on the Field," acrylic on stretched canvas
Winter is hanging on. It's windy and cold-there's ice on all our pathways.
The farmer has planted winter wheat, I think. His crop is hidden under ice and snow. People ran snow mobiles over his field and roared along the road in front of our house. I don't care for those machines but I can imagine it's fun to ride them.
I look ahead to walks down our road to view this field all green-too green, it seems your eyes just can't take all that color at once. And the smell of spring with birds singing.
Now everything just waits for warmth.

Oh, I really like this one Debra. It has a lot...perspective and depth, movement, and it makes me feel cold! Great job capturing “winter”.
This one is great!! Snow mobile tracks in the snow. It leads to your imagination. Did the farmer get made when he saw them, or is HE the rider. You brought the snow to life. We had a big snow fall this week. Terry keeps saying he hopes it's the last time he sees snow. The place we will move to has not had snow in 25 years.

Nice one! Although we've had a few freezing nights, winter has missed us this year. P.S. I'm still finding stuff I'd forgotten as I try to clean and organize. ;)
Dear Debra this certainly captures the silence and the cold of winter. Beautiful painting. Love the spots of dark you use to enhance the otherwise white snow. Your simplicity makes this such an elegant work. So glad you are keeping busy with your brushes. Hugs! P.S. I saw robins these past two weeks...me thinks spring is on its way! :)
I love this one Debra
Thank you!!!!
