I am not with it in brain power these days-I can't remember if I updated about my brother. I asked for prayers-God kept my brother from developing into bad sickness from contracting covid19. And his wife is fine too. Considering just how awfully contagious this virus is-that is a miracle.
Thank you all who prayed and who emailed and left encouraging comments-
all of it helped so much.
I wanted to tell anyone who reads this stuff of mine-my blogging community means so much to me.
Your comments,
your visits even when you don't comment,
really help me.
When my husband is at work
I'm alone here with my goose Sam and our dove, Norton.
The news these days isn't exactly good and I should take a break from it, but I want to be as informed about staying safe as I can be.
My dreams are crazy-I'm always traveling either by some kind of car, or walking. Strange places and people I don't know, situations that are odd or scary.
I bet it's the same for you too.
If you'd like to tell me about your time now, please feel free to let some emotion out in the comments.
It truly does not help to keep it inside.
With love and deep thankfulness.

Prayers continue for everyone. It is good to read your love ones are all right.
I watching a program on television about how the crisis team in Japan is dealing with virus. Scary. Social distancing, and precautions by the public is a crucial key factor in keeping the spread down. Talk about front line, the public is right up front with all the others.
I'm glad your family is doing well. No, there isn't much good news and way too much bad news, but it is difficult to limit my intake. Lockdown dreams--evidently this is a prevalent condition stimulated by the increase in anxiety. When everything we do could lead to exposure, of course we are all anxious. Not trusting the government to deliver the help needed doesn't help, but I am happy with our governor.
Hi Debra, glad your brother is doing well. It's not easy being alone, as I know from my own experience, but I'm trying to Stay positive and think of better times when I won't be alone 24/7. It has to get better! Stay safe and well, hugs, Valerie
Nice to hear good news about your brother. I'm happy for you.
Good news!! yes these are trying times for sure-I got myself so stressed out there over a week ago and decided to cut myself off from all news on the tv and only watch live updates from the President and his team-I felt so much better last week-the weather was not helping either with it being cold and windy.
yes we need to stay connected here on our blogs-hugs Kathy
Thank God your family is good. Thanks for visiting my blog and just know that I too am alone except for my Jenny. Yes I had to smile when I read about your Aunt and her cat.. Jenny knows 'lay down', go and eat, get on the bed'... Like your Aunt's cat , I swear that Jenny understands everything I say. Like you I also keep up with the news, so I know what the heck is going on in my world. LOL !
Oh such good news, Debra. I am so glad your brother and wife are doing better.
blessings to you, and stay well.
Penny
Really heartening to read your good news Debra xx
Dear Debra - wonderful news about your brother...certainly a miracle with how terrible this virus is for certain people. You are so right about wanting to keep informed but also how important it is to not focus completely on the news. In fact my hubby reached out to CNN and asked them to share how many people have recovered from the virus...like all newsworthy subjects the media always focuses on the gloomiest and the worst scenarios (that doesn't mean that we ignore the seriousness of the disease) but we have to hear good things too and there are tremendously wonderful things happening in the midst of this pandemic. Keep in mind that the original models that the scientists predicted even with social distancing were far higher numbers than have come to pass. Let us not discount that there is a tremendous amount of prayers being sent up and our God is not a God who doesn't hear his children. Hugs!
Such good news, Debra. There’s not much we can do except follow the guidelines to stay safe. Since it’s so crazy with everyone in charge dictating different guidelines, I am trying to do them all. It can’t hurt. Please take good care, and know that Sam and Norton need you. We do too! 🥰
God is good! So happy your brother is doing well! Will keep you and your family in my prayers, Debra!
Yes, I've been having really weird dreams, too, so I've been staying away from the "news." Occasional local news & abbreviated updates from the President are about all I can stomach right now. When I want to keep up on current events, I tune into Pastor Jack Hibbs or Jan Markel and listen to what they say as events relate to Bible prophecy - not at all scary that way:)
This is good news for sure. I am also taking a break from the news. Though it's important to know what's going on with this pandemic it's equally important to know what else is going on in the world...like where the heck is Kim Jung-Un? Where can I find yeast? Your blog is one of my favorite places to visit. Gotta love a lady with a pet duck and dove.
xx, Carol
I'm happy reading that your words that your brother is doing well, Debra.
We got here some sunny days and although my age group is now in home quarantine we can take outside exercises. So I took a long walk on beach to day. I enjoyed it.
Wishing you good health and blessings xx
That is great news about your brother. Congrats for being the featured artist. You asked if my seedlings will stay in the containers. The big containers the answer is yes. The seedlings in the 7-up bottles will be transplanted to larger containers. Remember this is new to me and I should have started all the seedling in the larger containers. However, I don't mind transplanting. Today it is so rainy, againnnn, that I made mini hot houses for the larger containers and brought the rest inside my house. If your seedlings get too wet they will rot and mold and not grow. I hope you don't mine I am placing your blog in my sidebar. I don't want to miss any of your posts. It is so nice to know you. Be safe and Elow hugs.
stay safe
