Stanley, and Paint Party Friday

Here is the fellow who lives under our kitchen porch. His name is Stanley.
He doesn't like to be photographed at all, so I have to be sneaky.
He has been a very polite house guest and doesn't eat things he shouldn't.
This is my painting for this week.
Acrylic on canvas.
Have a lovely weekend
and stay safe.

It's really nice that Stanley feels so comfortable with you:)
And I love your sweet painting - simple at first glance, but not so simple upon a second look. The addition of the clock, the calendar, the birds, the pop of the red cup all make me want to imagine the story behind it. Nice visiting with you, Debra! Have a lovely weekend:)

This certainly addresses the quarantine for those stuck in apartments who can't get out to enjoy the outdoors Happy PPF

Your painted scene is beautiful Debra. Glad your Stanley is behaving. We had groundhogs a few times and although the babies were so cute they all were destroying the shared veggie garden with our neighbors and so they had to be rehomed. keep well, and happy PPF!

Stanley is cute and really looks shy. I like your painting and the colours you have used. It tells a story. I am an acrylic beginner and yet to try the canvas. Stay well. :)

I was hoping to find out exactly what type of animal Stanley is but two different ones are mentioned - groundhog and marmot! Hope you answer.
The painting is wonderful. I especially love the view out of the window, full of daisies.

What a sweet little post about Stanley!! We, too, have a guest ground hog in the milk barn - and our dog does not like it at all!! Happy PPF!
