Here is the fellow who lives under our kitchen porch. His name is Stanley.
He doesn't like to be photographed at all, so I have to be sneaky.
He has been a very polite house guest and doesn't eat things he shouldn't.
This is my painting for this week.
Acrylic on canvas.
Have a lovely weekend
and stay safe.

It's really nice that Stanley feels so comfortable with you:)
And I love your sweet painting - simple at first glance, but not so simple upon a second look. The addition of the clock, the calendar, the birds, the pop of the red cup all make me want to imagine the story behind it. Nice visiting with you, Debra! Have a lovely weekend:)
What a bold and beautiful Stanley is😊
Love your delightful painting, Debra.
Happy and healthy weekend ❤️🌹
Your painting is beautiful, and I've fallen in love with Stanley! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
Stanley the marmot is a cutie. Your painting is so inviting. Well done.
Love your painting! It is cheerful and super charming.
Stanley is adorable!
This certainly addresses the quarantine for those stuck in apartments who can't get out to enjoy the outdoors Happy PPF
Your painted scene is beautiful Debra. Glad your Stanley is behaving. We had groundhogs a few times and although the babies were so cute they all were destroying the shared veggie garden with our neighbors and so they had to be rehomed. keep well, and happy PPF!
Nice to see Stanley, and a lovely spring painting!
what a fun "neighbor" is he a marmot? Love your painting.
any tips when you made your walnut ink? I have not tried this yet thanks
Nice window painting and what a lovey house guest :)
So adorable Debra, Stanley as well as your lovely, springtime painting! Like Chris commented, I know there is a story here too.
Oh what a handsome guy Stanley is and how lucky you are to be able to watch him! Your painting is so pretty!
Stanley made me smile and your painting done in acrylics is so comforting.
Happy ppf
Lovely home-y atmosphere. Bravo. Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Much💛🎑💛love
Stanley is cute and really looks shy. I like your painting and the colours you have used. It tells a story. I am an acrylic beginner and yet to try the canvas. Stay well. :)
Love this painting--cheerful, comforting!
Lovely painting and Stanley is cute.
Stanley is a lovely guest...so polite! And I adore your kitchen painting....serene and calm. We need more of that!
I was hoping to find out exactly what type of animal Stanley is but two different ones are mentioned - groundhog and marmot! Hope you answer.
The painting is wonderful. I especially love the view out of the window, full of daisies.
What a sweet little post about Stanley!! We, too, have a guest ground hog in the milk barn - and our dog does not like it at all!! Happy PPF!
Ah that Stanley is adorable...I think he would be a delightful house guest :)!! Your painting is superb - love the bird in the window... hope your day is fine.
