I’m amazed that you worked with so many scraps and made them come together so well for the bird image! It’s perfect against the blue. If you still plan a painting inspired by this, I’m eager to see!
The little girl will LOVE the kitty and the bird seems like a miraculous creation to me. I cannot sew very well although I used to make my own skirts and simple tops when a teenager.
So many times, over the weeks and months, I have thought about you. How wonderful that we have reconnected in this big old wide world! I am happy to see that you are still stitching and that your garden is just as lovely as ever. I do wonder about the bird, though.
