Merry Christmas!

My girl, Sam, laying as close as she can to the goose-holding chair.
I have a big pile of my son's artwork and signs and stories saved. We homeschooled and I let him sound out words and didn't correct his spelling until he was older. It was a good tactic because he loved to write, and now at 30 years old, he is a much better speller than I.
Besides, his 'mistakes' are heart warming!

 Merry Christmas!

Adorable picture of Sam, your son’s sign with childlike use of language and spelling, and his beautiful folk-art version of a Christmas tree! I still have things from our kids like this, and I’ve often wondered if they will want them someday.

:) Sam is waiting for you! Isn't it funny to see our children's art over the years? From those fat little hands to the skilled and capable ones they've grown into....

The goose-holding chair looks a bit cold now.:~) I have kept lots of my kiddos' art work that they did through the years - always such fun to look through. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, Dear Debra!
