I have wanted to get back to making things with cloth and clay. So this new year, I'm going to try at doll and bird making again, while also keeping up with painting. These photos are from a few years ago when I had an Etsy shop. I made lots of things for sale in my shop, and I had a regular blast doing it. The very last photo is a new painting I just finished, which is being sent off to my son for his apartment. I'm so happy he is a fan of my work! Stay tuned, if you like, for my endevors in doll-making. I ordered some gorgeous old clothing for repurposing, and I can't wait to get it in the mail, so I can show you too. I'm so thankful to be able to play and create, and to share my work with you. Thank you for visiting.
The bird above, was featured in one of Stampington's beautiful magazines. He was life-sized, and I did sell him.

Happy New Yearπ
Your talent is amazing. I always look forward to seeing how your doll's personalities develop. More!
Ohhhh these are all beautiful. I love the rustic look of them. You are very talented. Wishing you all the happiness in 2021.
My dear friend as always I am inspired by your wonderful creativity. I am so looking forward to seeing all your new work in the coming year. Blessings are being sent your way for 2021 to be the best ever. Hugs!
Debra, you inspire me once again! I love your new painting. We are surely related as a cityscape was my thought for my last painting, but everyone saw a waterfall instead, so it shall be! π
PS...I want to add how much I love your cloth and clay figures. I can’t pick a favorite, they all exude creative folk art. By the way, I love seeing the name “Monnie Bean” again. π
Wonderful art, Debra. Love every one!
I wish your new year 2021 is full of love, happiness and health xxx
I loved your birds! My all-time favorite? The fox! Time to shake things up again--keep painting AND making. :)
Wow I just found your blog. I am amazed by your creativity and skills. I love these creatures. No wonder you sold that bird. Wish you a happy new year and are looking forward to following your blog from now✨❤️π₯° All the best from Lone in Norway
The fox is fabulous and you need hens in a hen house to go with him...lol! These are all wonderful.
I can see your creativity is highly developed - lucky you, and coupled with your artistic talent there will be more wonderful productivity for us to enjoy. My respect, dear Debra
