Sometimes we all need a protective wing under which to take shelter. I love your art!

Your painting is very creative and charming, Debra. It could be you and Sam :)

Beautiful, thoughtful, and nuturing.

This is really cool! I have those pencils but do not get nice drawings from them. I think it’s my lack of drawing talent. This piece is so imaginative and reminds me of the lyric from a favorite song…”Oh I could hide ‘neath the wings of the bluebird as she sings”

I think I need new glasses. When I first looked at your delightful drawing I saw a mushroom [it was the little picture on the reading list]

Debra, I love this drawing. Took me a minute to realize it is under goose wings. That is so neat! Your hen is wonderful too (last post) made me smile as it looks just like some of my hens. Glad you're feeling better and the pictures of Sam are just wonderful. Oh, did you happen to look at Lynn's last video where she was cleaning up her work shop? She is a mess! It made me laugh, especially the last part. Take care. Love, Henny

If it wasn't a girl -
it would be Nils Holgerson.

I was so sure I posted a comment on this post, so if this is a duplicate please just keep the most interesting. lol

When I first saw this picture I thought it was a mushroom (as someone above said), but when I realized it was a bird I thought it looked kind of frightening. A giant bird and a small girl or woman. Eek! Then I realized the bird was probably protecting her. Now I have a whole different feeling about it. :)
