It is strange that as long as Blogger blogs have been plagued with bots, Google doesn't catch and stop them.
There were 3 or 4 countries where bots originated from that showed up in my blog stats. The bots eventually faded away. There's probably an app that can help. The instructions I see online, too complicated for me to try.
Two or three years ago, I had a similar problem which is rather scary, for sure. Another blogger advised me to change my setting on comment location to Popup Window. Since then, I have had no further problem with this issue.
I have all kinds of problems with Blogger. Right now, I can't see any movies people share on their blogs. But I have never had a bot problem, at least not one I know about. But I use Linux and Firefox. Seems I don't have those kinds of problems.
